Pikes Peak Range Riders Street Breakfast and Peak Ride
The Pikes Peak Range Riders put on an annual Street Breakfast in downtown Colorado Springs. The street breakfast has grown to over 10,000 residents and tourists and is now served by cooks from nearby Fort Carson. The Pikes Peak Range Riders have their horses saddled and ready to go. Immediately after the Street Breakfast, they head out on the week-long Peak Ride. This ride started in 1949. The ride has grown to over 160 Range Riders and traverses beautiful back-country near Colorado Springs. The end of the ride signals the start of the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo.
